PHILEX 2026

ONLINE STAMP EXHIBITION 3 - 16 DECEMBER 2026

The exhibition "PHILEX-2026", is an online philatelic exhibition organized by the Bangladesh National Philatelic Association in collaboration and patronage by Bangladesh Philatelic Federation. The regulations are based on the General Regulations of the FIP for the Evaluation of Competitive Exhibits at FIP Exhibitions (GREV), and the Special Regulations for the Evaluation of Competitive Exhibits at FIP Exhibition (SREV's) as well as the Individual Regulations for PHILEX 2026 in context of national level exhibitions. All entries will be displayed on the Exhibition's website and available for public viewing through online.

1. Purpose of Exhibition:

PHILEX 2026, National level exhibition with international participation shall be held for the following purposes:

  • 1.1To celebrate the 49th Anniversary of Bangladesh National Philatelic Association
  • 1.2To celebrate the 100 years Anniversary of the FIP
  • 1.3To celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the UPU

2. Participants

  • 2.1Participation is open to all collectors around the world.
  • 2.2The entrant must be the owner of the exhibit.

3. Conditions of Entry

  • 3.1Exhibitors shall submit their entry forms via Google Forms, which must be accompanied by an introductory title page and entry Fees.
  • 3.2Upon completion the forms exhibitor give consent regarding the exhibit will be displayed online until the organizing committee shutdown the exhibit website site or withdrawn the exhibit from the website.
  • 3.3Entry forms must be received by the Exhibition Organizing Committee no later than 30th October 2026.
  • 3.4Complete Entries are automatically accepted and due by 20th November 2026 to submit the exhibit scan copy file to the organizing committee.
  • 3.5The Jury shall penalize exhibits containing forgeries or reproductions not so described. The Jury reserved the right to seek confirmation of ownership of material or the whole exhibit.

4. Exhibition Classes

There will be only two classes of exhibits:

4.1 Non-Competitive Class

(may display their exhibits ranging from 1 to 8 frames, accepted by organizing committee).

4.2 Competitive Class

(all exhibitors in this class will display three or five frame exhibits except One frame & Youth exhibit. Youth exhibit will be up to maximum three frames). The Competitive class exhibit may be sub-classified under the following:

I. Traditional Philately
  • a) National Class: Bangladesh
  • b) The Rest of the World
II. Postal History
  • a) National Class: Bangladesh
  • b) The Rest of the World
III. Postal Stationery
IV. Aerophilately
V. Astrophilately
VI. Revenue
VII. Thematic Philately
VIII. Youth Class(under 21 years old can participate in this class)
  • • Youth Class “A”: up to 15 years old
  • • Youth Class “B”: 16 to 18 years old
  • • Youth Class “C”: 19 to 21 years old

XI. Picture Post Card
XII. Modern Philately
XIII. First Day Cover
XIV. One frame
XV. Electronic Literature

(including websites, electronic books, catalogues, journals, series of magazines or newsletters published electronically after 1 January 2021)

6. Entries – File Format

Page size is not critical, but entries must scan in JPG format (Maximum 2MB per image). Page number must be the file name like “page01, page20, page80”.

7. Privacy

Images of exhibits will be displayed on a public website. The Exhibition Committee cannot prevent copying or downloading of exhibit images.

8. Awards

All Participants get Certificate & Medal. For Competitive Class, the awards will be as follows:

1) Large Gold
2) Gold
3) Large Vermeil
4) Vermeil
5) Large Silver
6) Silver
8) Silver Bronze
9) Bronze

A Certificate of Participation will be given to exhibits attaining less than 60 points.

9. Jury

The members of the Jury will be approved by the BPF and will include National and FIP/FIAP Accredited judges from around the world. The decisions of the Jury are final and cannot be contested.

10. Amendment of Regulations

Bangladesh National Philatelic Association reserves the right to amend these regulations.
